Many a times, we have tried to figure out the perfect woman, "THE ONE" and many more expressions forth, but somehow everytime we get into a phase of contradiction, the lines begin to fade, and the hand weaving fine threads of commitment begin to waver..its a fine piece of embroidery, this relationship, but like any piece of art, the end is a mindblowing flood of emotions represented on a canvas..every relationship unique to its artists..ill leave this post with the lyrics of a song..which probably convey the feeling better..
A better Moon - Ian Anderson
I see you better now, shaded in deeper blue.
Hardly needing to carry the find-your-way lamp
down to the river.
Tonight flies a better moon.
Sad water buffalo lie fast near the shallows;
a splash revealing the fly-catching fishes.
Dark Gods silently watching.
Tonight flies a better moon.
I guess you've known lovers here, compliant in passion;
softly laid in the old reed bed, harshly
lit in the noon sun.
Tonight flies a better moon.
Now cloaked in this milky light, new as the virgin dawn,
shrouded sweetly in all kinds of mystery,
you turn, smile and then are gone.
Tonight flies a better moon.

Happy Birthday to me..
This has to be one of the best birthdays i have ever had in my life! I will list the events as they happened so i dont miss anything!
Started off monday night with my lady sharon taking me out for dinner in a coffee shop at a five star, giving me the most amazing gift ever..A NEIL GAIMAN MARVEL 1602 Collectors edition Comic..ITS MINE ALL MINE!!(explains the layout too hehe)Had the most amazing time, felt really good to be pampered after a days work!
Tuesday(BDAY DAY) started off quite lazy with me trying to figure out whether i could carry out what i had planned to do without a hitch or whether it would be another day of work..and finally i got my confirmation!!
It was a day at an orphanage, Sivananda Orphanage, an evening with kids who could get the better of me!! 150 kids taking my trip all day, those darn kids!!
It was so much fun, and the place is absolutely awesome with 40 acres of super clean(maintained by the little ones) land consisting of an orphanage of 200 odd kids, an old age home with about 70 residents and the most amazing bird collection of the owner i have ever seen!!(photos below)
It was quite heart warming to spend the whole evening with them, but it was also very clear that they were just about better than animals in cages..it was quite pathetic to realise that they had no idea what was outside those walls..even though everything was provided to them inside..something which made me think how selfish we haev grown to be, that when we spend time with these ones..we dont realise how much we have and how much they lack..
I dont know how many of you are around here and i dont know how many of you have time..but if you do, please visit them and try and spend a few hours with them showing them and telling them the fascinations we have outside those walls, i am trying to arrange field trips for them to take them around wherever possible..most of the details of the ashram can be found on their website http://www.sivanandagurukul.org/
I wish to do this more often and not on a "Special" day anymore..i think we all need to draw some sort of a balance in our own lives to realise some others dont live like we do..i know i sound like a preacher, but the amount of fun i had, id probably say, all of you are missing something!!
Which brings me to the best part of the evening, when all the children joined in singing a prayer and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOGI...it was utterly chaotic and i had no clue what they were saying, but it was just awesome when they clapped their way through it, you couldnt help but smile and join in!
On an even better note, ended the day with sharon and reflextions(who has still quit blogging!) with a couple of beers at a nice rooftop restaurant..I LOVE BIRTHDAYS..:)

Media Blues..
I was watching tv quite aimlessly for a while today..and guess what was the biggest national news today covered for nearly two hours live in all channels(im talking the biggest news channels NDTV, TIMES Now CNN India and so on)
Little boy falls into tube well, and is rescued after 60 hrs..AMAZING!!!
As far as i know, it is probably worth mentioning in a headline or something, but a two hour national coverage live of an operation which mainly focused on a hole and some ppl going in and out(for the dirty minds like me..has nothign to do with what you are thinking!!)
I wonder whats with the media today, are they running out of news?? or is it yet another "American" influence of making everything seem absolutely exaggerated, like the red alert all the time!I swear i saw a whole live coverage there on a kid(little lamb not human) caught in a wire mesh and ppl trying to free it for 45 mins!!!
I dont see a point to news when everything has to be "BREAKING NEWS" and then turns out to be a cow gettign stuck in a giraffe or something(bad example tho, i would love to see that!!:D) but news itself is becoming so "entertaining" for every inane activity that i see no actual analysis being made anymore! Everything is about selling today i guess, where a tsunami toll is a by liner and laloo yadav prasad announcing chai in a mud pot on trains makes a two hour show!
P.S : I wanted to make a red layout and how best than to put a dark angel on it :)

Salaam Bombay!
I have not been in the blogging circle for a bit for a lot of reasons, work and probably a numb feeling of what happened over the week..i couldnt get myself to realise what the hell was going on, i went through feel anger, hatred, helplessness, fear, sadness and a whole bunch of emotions..and finally at the end of it all, after so many days of reading news items all over..and all that..there is one emotion in me :-
Humility - I used to go on about what a stuck up place Mumbai was..it probably still is, and i will probably never go there inspite of being all over India and the world..but today Mumbai and its ppl have shown me what they can be, and I offer a humble salute to them all, makes my heart swell with pride, pride of a nation, pride in its people, pride of my nationality, i could go on, but i will stop with this..
SALAAM BOMBAY..Mera Bharath Mahan(however corny ppl think that is, I am proud to say it today!)
P.S (added later): I did forget..that probably was not my last layout for a while after all heh, but considering i have been away for week, its probably a while :D
P.S. #2 : this has nothing to do with the current media coverage or our intelligence inefficiency(BAD I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.E.N.C.E BAD BAD), just a personal feeling

Yogi's Day out
I decided to go to a place which we used to frequently visit until it became too crowded and too 'hep' for my liking plus it was one of those days where i actually got off work early and we decided to make the best of it! The time i had there was absolutely amazing so no complaints at all there. But i was looking around, remember this is chennai, like summer 42 min deg celcius chennai! This guy had a bloody warm skull cap(i still like to call it monkey cap tho) in the middle of the pub..i was sweating looking at it!!
Sometimes, i really wonder about my conservativeness with fashion..i can stick to a maximum of three colors..black, white and gray..sometimes the occasional blue..and most often sloppy :). but these ppl take it way too far, i want to strip down to my underwear, and these guys wear denim jackets over their t-shirts!!i dont know how they manage it, and every alternate guy is trying pink, thinking they can carry it off!!i guess im still not open enough to accept a lot of today's men-fashion statements, maybe i should get more used to it..like the santro or something!!
This will probably be my last layout too for a while, im not sure how long i am going to carry on saying that either :) hope its 'manly' enough for the ppl around heh, jokin i know you guys loved that layout too so there!

Football woes!
Note : Again, this is my effort to try and maintain a new layout for a couple posts atleast, therefore has no particular context to it.
Every team i have supported so far has lost!!This usually never happens during my football world cup predictions, this time I have been so off, fate must be laughing with glee at me!!Brazil, Argentina, England and now Germany! I might as well start predicting that Sharapova might win Wimbledon, I might have more luck on 'grass'!(no pun intended :)).
I even tried reverse psychology to try and cheat fate, like outwardly pretending to cheer for the team i wanted to lose, but hell no, thats one bitch youre dealing with, made sure those were games the team I secretly supported lost really badly heh..the only lucky part..atleast I didnt bet this year!!
P.S. This template is made for 800x600 above for some ppl who have problems reading the size of my fonts!!:P so enjoy with one which is designed for the 'old' ppl!

toilet humour!
"PLEASE NOTE : I need feedback for the new layout..depending on how convenient it is since i have made posts in the page collapsible with the first post open to read so it doesnt become one long post, so let me know if its good or bad :)..it also lets me accomodate a lot more posts this way :D which reduces effort of going through the previous menu!"
Everytime i have been in and around a bathroom(loo, toilet, pee area, restroom) which does not belong to a fairly reputed hotel always has the expected scribble on the wall..i used to think it was exclusive to Indian loos, but then came to realise its just about anywhere...
the famous ones ive seen around are usually :-
1. "Someone" was here..this is probably the most common of them all, around every single one, will definitely have our narcissist wanting to make an impression in a uni-sex loo(im yet to see a common loo heh), for what god knows!! but yes, to make their prescence felt from restrooms to subway walls to where ever, they were always there!!
2. "Someone" loves "Someone", around a piss pot COME ON!! i think there are better places(if you really have to carve it out) than a stinky human waste holding environment!
3. The customary swear words...understandable, for someone with either indigestion or acute constipation!!:D
4. The best of all, the PHONE NUMBER!!, again, in a uni-sex restroom, why the hell would you put up your name and your phone number..i mean, everyone needs a job, buts thats pushing it, i cant imagine a HR guy looking at the wall and saying..hmm. theres an applicant i can use!
I dont know, i think its just charm all around in a restroom where you wait till youre done with yuo know what and just read the nonsense written all around and wonder, these ppl use only one hand to pee or something like that, i dont know, i wonder how they find time to carve as they relieve themselves, and what the hell are they thinking to do something like that!!
The two on my layout are childhood sayings(courtesy my dad) and i have never been able to stop laughing at them..they are probably the best words someone could actually write on a restroom wall!:D
And some bathroom humour(off the net):-
-Found in a men's restroom.
What are you looking up on the wall for? The joke is in your hands.
No wonder you always go home alone.
Express Lane: Five beers or less
-Found in a women's restroom.
Make love, not war. Heck, do both - get married !
There are two sides to every divorce: Yours and The Jerk's.
PS : This was an easier layout to make than the other ones since it does not involve too many complications, liked the new way i could represent the links tho, is gonna help me arrange the links in my future blogs, space saving and very neat!!And, BRAZIL and ENGLAND(this tho was not a surprise but still) LOST, it really was a "Shitty" day!
